BOTTER's Instagram introduction post says Aquatic wear . For them, the water and the sea, especially the Caribbean, are a source of inspiration . Growing up in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and on the island of Curacao , located in the Caribbean, they develop their collections under the theme of their brand, the Caribbean, their hometown and root . They say in interviews that they are aesthetically influenced by the way of life of Caribbean people .
They are not only inspired by the sea, but also actively intervene in environmental issues . A coral sanctuary was created as part of a project to protect the corals of Curacao Island. I think that design reflects not only the collection of aesthetic elements, but also the communion with nature, the understanding of the lives of neighbors, and how the designer is connected with them.

BOTTER is creating a brand image by reflecting the wish that nature and the world, the source of our life, continue in its design. What a fashion brand should pursue is not just design. BOTTER's next Caribbean couture show is highly anticipated, which shows that fashion is not only about appearance but also expression of one's worldview.
