The Ark
A limited-edition lounge chair collection, inspired by the Zanotta Sacco, commissioned by Matthieu Blazy for Bottega Veneta. Designed in 1968 by Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini, and Franco Teodoro, the Sacco shares the same softness, anti-formalism, and malleability to the body that characterized Bottega Veneta’s inaugural bags. In his spirited take on this design classic, Blazy’s reinterpretation of the Sacco merges the chair’s fluidity with playful animal forms to evoke creativity, wonder, and boundless imagination.
